When I began writing my own life story, I assumed it would be easy. After all, I had decades of teaching and writing experience.
Instead, I discovered that even experienced writers struggle with where to begin, what to include, and how to tell the truth with both honesty and compassion.
That experience led me to develop a simple, supportive approach that helps people write the stories that matter most.
Today, I help people preserve their memories, family stories, and life lessons before they are lost.
The Small Moments Matter
Some of my happiest early memories are simple ones: library books, Saturday matinees, church activities, school, and time spent with family.
Those moments may have seemed ordinary at the time, but together they shaped who I became. That is why I believe no memory is too small and no story is too ordinary to preserve.
Your family may not know which traditions mattered most to you, which experiences changed you, or what you learned along the way unless you write them down.

Long before I became a life-story guide, I was a teacher, writer, mother, grandmother, traveler, and keeper of my own family’s memories. Every classroom I taught in, every place I visited, and every person I met became part of my story.

Those experiences showed me that a meaningful life is not made from one dramatic moment. It is built from the everyday memories, turning points, relationships, and lessons we carry with us.
A Love of Books
My childhood love of reading opened the door to a lifetime of learning, writing, and storytelling.
A Life in Education
I spent decades teaching at junior high and university levels, helping others find confidence in their ideas and their voices.
Author and Guide
After publishing more than 15 books, I turned my experience toward helping others preserve the stories that matter most.
Your story matters. You don't have to write it all at once. Just begin with one memory, one moment, one story. The people you love will treasure it for generations to come.
